Frequently Asked Questions

Anyone with a connection to the fashion industry or creative economy. No legal qualification required. Designers, brand owners, buyers, stylists, consultants, educators, and fashion-adjacent professionals are all eligible.
Lawyers and law graduates with a first degree in law or equivalent. Law students in their final year may also register. Your CFLP designation activates once bar admission is confirmed.
Fully online via Classmarker. You can sit it from anywhere with a stable internet connection during the 22–28 September 2026 window.
You receive your score and a domain-by-domain breakdown to guide your preparation. Retake fee is $35 for CFLM and $50 for CFLP. You must wait a minimum of 30 days before resitting.
Yes. If you hold a law qualification and work in fashion, you are eligible for both. Each requires a separate registration and fee.
All certificates are publicly verifiable at fashionlawinstitutenigeria.org/verify. Enter the certificate number to confirm it is authentic and current.
